A HOSA Community Awareness campaign dedicated to hygiene education, product access, and dignity for all.
Why We Started
We chose to focus on societal health because children, people experiencing homelessness, and underserved communities worldwide face serious hygiene-related health risks. Many lack access to clean water, sanitary products, hygiene facilities, and education on basic hygiene practices.
These gaps lead to preventable illnesses, increased school absenteeism among children, higher risk of infectious diseases for homeless individuals, and widespread health challenges in underserved communities globally.
We selected a Community Awareness campaign focused on Hygiene Health because we are passionate about education and improving overall well-being. Our campaign aims to raise awareness, teach clear and practical hygiene habits, and promote access to resources โ encouraging communities to work together to create lasting improvements in public health both locally and globally.
Our Research
~802 million children worldwide lack handwashing facilities at school (WHO/UNICEF).
Regular handwashing reduces diarrheal disease by ~30% and respiratory infections by ~17%.
2.3 billion people lack basic handwashing facilities at home globally.

Our goal is to educate people about the importance of health and hygiene while raising awareness for underprivileged communities, ensuring they have access to essential hygiene products.
